FAQ

Do you photograph chicken butts?

We specialize in planning + photographing christian couples on their Michigan elopements. We also serve the surrounding midwest areas for elopements.

For couples we photograph engagements and date-night sessions that are planned specific to you as a couple (by me).

How do I include my family in the elopement

You can invite up to 15 guests as long as the venue or state/national park allows it! You can include other family members by:

  • planning a reception, dinner or party to celebrate later.
  • having them write you letter to read on your elopement day
  • group zoom or face-time after the ceremony
  • stream the ceremony so your family can watch
How do you choose the location?

We have a in-depth client questionnaire that is designed to get to know you as a couple, and gives an outline of what you like or dont like. From there we choose 3-5 locations that we think you would love, and we let you choose from there!

how do we choose a timeline

My packages allow for a 4 hour timeline, 8 hour timeline, or 12 hours split between two days. After you have filled out my elopement questionnaire, I will give you sample timelines and ideas of activities based on your responses. This is really relaxed and can be changed as necessary. The important thing is that you enjoy your elopement day!

When Will we get our gallery?

We love to deliver your sneak peaks within 48-72 hours. After that we have a typical elopement gallery done in 4-6 weeks (sometimes sooner ;) and a couples session done in about 2 weeks!

What happens If there is bad weather?

If the weather is redeemable we will adjust our activities and grab umbrellas/necessary gear. But, if the weather is bad and we are unable to redeem the day, we will move your elopement to your back up date. I take on a very limited amount of elopements so that I can be flexible in these types of cases.
